1. Cab and exterior design
The whole vehicle uses an engineering orange-yellow professional construction color scheme, offering high recognizability and improved visibility and safety on construction sites. The front grille is marked with the SHACMAN logo, paired with Shaanxi Automobile’s classic round emblem, and a black thickened anti-collision front bumper that is impact-resistant and suitable for complex construction site road conditions.
The Delong F3000 flat-roof engineering cab has a sturdy structure and strong impact resistance; it is equipped with split large-size rearview mirrors and side blind-spot mirrors, ensuring no blind spots when turning or reversing on narrow construction sites or rural roads. The cab interior is equipped with a shock-absorbing seat, heating and cooling air conditioning, electric windows, and a multifunctional instrument panel. The cab adopts a suspended shock-absorbing structure, reducing vibration on bumpy roads and minimizing fatigue during long working hours. The cab has good sealing performance, isolating dust and noise from construction sites and providing a comfortable driving environment.
2. Powertrain, reliable and durable
The vehicle is equipped with a Weichai WP12 series National VI diesel engine, available in 375 or 400 horsepower options. It delivers high torque at low speeds, providing sufficient power reserves for climbing slopes and heavy-load starts. The engine is robust and durable, enabling stable operation in plateau and mountainous construction sites.
It is matched with a Fast 12-speed heavy-duty manual transmission, designed for low-speed heavy-load construction conditions and short-distance road transport. Gear shifting is stable with a low failure rate. A hydraulic retarder can be optionally installed; during heavy-load long downhill driving, the retarder assists braking, significantly reducing brake pad wear and preventing brake overheating failure risks.
Exhaust treatment uses a DPF particulate filter + SCR urea aftertreatment system, ensuring emissions compliance with national standards and meeting environmental regulations for construction sites and urban muck transport. It can legally enter urban construction areas. The Weichai + Fast power combination has a large market presence, with nationwide service coverage and widely available spare parts, resulting in very low maintenance costs.
3. Chassis load capacity, adapted for harsh construction sites
It adopts a 6×4 three-axle drive layout with a legal total weight of 25 tons and strong load-bearing capacity, compliant with national overloading regulations. The frame uses double-layer thickened high-strength alloy steel plates formed by integral stamping, offering strong resistance to torsion and stretching, and is not prone to cracking or deformation under long-term full-load transport of sand, gravel, and construction waste.
The suspension uses heavy-duty multi-leaf springs combined with thickened shock absorbers, providing good cushioning on muddy and bumpy construction site roads and reducing body vibration and wear. The rear double reinforced drive axle comes standard with a differential lock, reducing the risk of slipping or getting stuck in muddy and slippery conditions. The vehicle is equipped with 12.00R20 deep-tread engineering tires with strong grip, wear resistance, and puncture resistance. The full vehicle uses pneumatic brake systems with spring brake (fail-safe) and ABS, providing shorter braking distances under heavy loads and improving driving safety.
4. Cargo box and hydraulic unloading system
The cargo box is made of thickened wear-resistant manganese steel plates welded together, with integrated reinforcing ribs on the exterior for better resistance to stone impact and wear, extending service life. Red and white reflective markings are installed around the box to improve nighttime safety visibility.
The cargo volume ranges from 16 to 22 cubic meters, meeting the needs of large-volume transport of soil, sand, gravel, and waste. An optional fully automatic electric tarpaulin can be installed to prevent spillage and dust during transport of muck and powder materials, meeting urban environmental regulations.
It is equipped with a high-flow hydraulic lifting cylinder, providing fast lifting speed and stable support. The unloading process has a stable center of gravity and is less prone to rollover.
