Propane Regulator

The BPO-5 propane regulator is a single-stage pressure reducing valve designed specifically for propane/LPG. Widely used in gas welding, cutting and industrial gas supply applications, it reduces high-pressure propane from the cylinder to a stable, low working pressure while maintaining constant output pressure. Equipped with a pressure gauge for real-time monitoring, it features a compact and durable structure with standard propane cylinder connections, making it an essential safety accessory for industrial gas operations.

Product Features

  1. Stable Pressure Regulation: Single-stage pressure reducing structure accurately reduces high-pressure propane from the cylinder to working pressure, with minimal output pressure fluctuations to ensure stable operation.
  2. Safety Monitoring: Equipped with a low-pressure gauge to display outlet pressure in real time, facilitating adjustment and monitoring.
  3. Durable & Reliable: Combines brass fittings with an aluminum alloy body for corrosion and impact resistance, suitable for harsh industrial environments.
  4. Standard Compatibility: Inlet connection (W21.8×1/14 LH) fits most standard propane cylinders; outlet connection adapts to common gas hoses for easy installation.
  5. Wide Applications: Ideal for propane welding, cutting, heating and various industrial gas supply scenarios, with a 5 m³/h flow rate meeting most standard operational needs.

Instructions for Use

  • Check the seals at the connections before installation to ensure no damage; tighten the nut gently when connecting to the cylinder to avoid over-tightening.
  • Before opening the cylinder valve, turn the regulator adjustment knob counterclockwise to the loosest position, then slowly open the cylinder valve.
  • Slowly turn the adjustment knob clockwise while observing the pressure gauge to set the outlet pressure to the required working value.
  • After use, first close the cylinder valve, vent residual gas from the regulator, then loosen the adjustment knob.

Safety Precautions

  • Only for use with propane/LPG; do not use with oxygen, acetylene or other gases.
  • Avoid subjecting the regulator to severe impacts or high temperatures; keep away from open flames and heat sources.
  • Regularly inspect seals and the pressure gauge. Immediately stop use and perform maintenance if leaks or unstable pressure are detected.
